NACHC RECOGNIZES CBHA WITH THEIR 2011 MIGRANT HEALTH CENTER OF THE YEAR AWARD

The National Association of Community Health Centers recently recognized CBHA with their 2011 Migrant Health Center of the Year Award. The award recognizes CBHA’s outstanding achievements and contributions to the migrant health center mission and to community-based health care overall.NACHC’s press release stated, “CBHA was presented with the award because of their tireless efforts to address the critical health care needs of their surrounding rural community, which include migrant and seasonal farmworkers. CBHA is part of a national network of Community Health Centers that serve as the health care homes to over 23 million people in more than 8,000 communities, including over one million farmworkers.”
