GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The IT Application Support Specialist is responsible for assisting corporate users of information technology software. The person in this position is accountable for ensuring continuity of computer services for computer users by providing the planning, technical leadership, and project coordination necessary to implement computer software products and resolve technical problems. This position is responsible for training staff, as well as first response to all requests for assistance from the IT department involving CBHA specific software. The Application Support Specialist is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of a help desk database that logs all requests from the IT department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or related technological field of study.
- Training and experience can be substituted for formal education, depending on the nature and duration.
