DESCRIPTION:
The Health Care Assistant has responsibility for preparing patients for treatment, testing, or examination by the Health Care Provider and assisting the Provider in that function. He or she assists the Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses with patient flow, interpretation, connects with other services, maintain work area and examination rooms, stocks supplies, and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED with transcripts of required courses for HCA license level A,C,E
- One year experience in a clinic setting preferred
JOB RELATIONSHIPS:
SUPERVISOR: Clinic Manager, Nursing Supervisor, Medical Director, Operations Director with day to day instructions from health care Providers.
CO-WORKERS: Works closely, maintaining team approach, with all clinic staff
