Wahluke Family Clinic was built in 1999. The clinic began with a modular unit that held 6 exam rooms. It expanded to a larger modular unit with 9 medical exam rooms, pharmacy, in-house lab, procedure room for outpatient procedures, and 3 dental operatories.
On August 28, 2008 Wahluke Family Clinic celebrated its Grand Opening of it’s new permanent facility. Greg Brandenburg, CEO and KDF Architecture from Yakima have worked to design a facility that is attractive and blends with Mattawa’s landscape. The main level features an expanded pharmacy with waiting area and a drive-thru window, two large waiting areas, twelve medical exam rooms, full-service lab with infusion therapy and state-of-the-art treatment room. The second floor features six dental operatories, conference room, Support Services and WIC offices, radiology to include x-ray, mammography and ultrasound, and a physical therapy area with exercise equipment. There are two main waiting areas on the second floor to accommodate Dental and Support Services patients.
