Preventing Diseases and Saving Lives!
Columbia Basin Health Association strives to provide immunizations to all infants and children on a regularly scheduled basis and has implemented systems to ensure that children who are not fully and/or have never been immunized are immunized accordingly.
Here at CBHA we strive to promote the prevention of the ten most serious diseases in infancy and childhood as according to the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practice.
To ensure we are meeting our goals we have established a dedicated full-time nursing staff to oversee our “Best Practices” immunization program. Currently over 95% of our newborn to age 6 patient populations are fully inoculated. Here are just some of the most common immunizations we provide:
- DTaP/TDaP/Td
- HiB
- Hepatitiz A & B
- Polio
- MMR vaccinations
- Adult pneumovax
- Pediatric and adult influenza vaccines
- HPV/Cervical Cancer
