From the moment I walked into the clinic, I was struck by how beautiful it is and how passionate everyone is about helping people.

I was born in Salt Lake City, but since my dad served in the Air Force, my family moved around quite a bit before we settled back in Utah. I earned my undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University, a bachelor’s in dental hygiene from Utah Valley University, and then my dental degree from the University of Utah, followed by a one-year general practice residency at the University of Utah Hospital.

My passion for dentistry started even earlier, though, when I served as an interpreter for a dentist on a humanitarian trip to Guatemala. Witnessing the life-changing impact of dental care inspired me to pursue this field.

I lived in Chile during a church mission, and that experience is what led me to serve patients in this community. My family and I just moved to Othello, and in our first week we’ve already enjoyed the local parks and the strong sense of community here.

I’m truly excited to be part of CBHA and to serve this community. Thank you for the warm welcome as I begin this new chapter.

Desde el momento en que entré a la clínica, me impresionó lo hermosa que es y la pasión que todos tienen por ayudar a la gente.

Nací en Salt Lake City, pero como mi padre sirvió en la Fuerza Aérea, mi familia se mudó bastante antes de volver a Utah. Obtuve mi licenciatura en la Universidad Brigham Young, una licenciatura en higiene dental en la Universidad Utah Valley y luego mi título en odontología en la Universidad de Utah, seguido de una residencia de un año en medicina general en el Hospital de la Universidad de Utah.

Sin embargo, mi pasión por la odontología comenzó incluso antes, cuando serví como intérprete para un dentista en un viaje humanitario a Guatemala. Ser testigo del impacto transformador de la atención dental me inspiró a dedicarme a esta profesión.

Viví en Chile durante una misión religiosa, y esa experiencia fue lo que me llevó a servir a los pacientes de esta comunidad.

Estoy muy emocionado de formar parte de CBHA y de servir a esta comunidad. Gracias por la cálida bienvenida al comenzar esta nueva etapa.
