Dispose Your Unwanted Medications at Our Clinics

Do you have medications in your home that have expired, or don’t need anymore, but don’t know what to do with them? We have a place where you can safely dispose of them.

A Medication Disposal Kiosk is available at all of our clinic sites (Othello, Connell, Mattawa) where you can drop off your expired or unwanted medicines. Medications that are dropped in the kiosk are secured and locked. However, to protect your privacy, we want to remind you to remove all personally identifiable information on your medication labels before disposing of unwanted medicines.

By having the kiosk at our clinics, community members have the convenience of coming in during our early and late hours. You do not need to be a patient of CBHA to dispose of your medications, this service is open to anyone and everyone.

The Disposal Kiosk will accept medications in any dosage form. Kiosk WILL NOT accept:

  • Herbal Remedies
  • Vitamins
  • Supplements
  • Cosmetics
  • Personal Care Products
  • Medical Devices
  • Batteries
  • Mercury - Containing Thermometer’s
  • Sharps
  • Illicit Drugs
