Cost-Effective Nutritional Health in Central Washington
WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) is a state-funded nutrition program that provides free health education, food benefits, and other services to underserved families in Washington. Primarily created for pregnant women, new mothers, and children under age five, WIC is a cost-effective way to support a healthy diet for you and your family.
WIC eligible nutrition services include:
- Nutrition education and counseling
- Breastfeeding education and support
- Promotion of healthy lifestyle habits
- Benefits for healthy foods redeemable at grocery stores and Farmers Markets (in-season)
- General health education
