Provider Bio
“Connell is my home, and I love that I can work with CBHA and focus on providing great access to healthcare in my community,” says Tamara.
Tamara grew up in Basin City and has worked in the Tri-cities area for the past 16 years. “I love that CBHA is so focused on providing greater access to healthcare in the community, and being able to provide care for my neighbors, friends and members of the community is so important to me.”
When she is not seeing patients, Tamara enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 girls. “We love snow skiing and traveling. I also enjoy reading nonfiction; biographies and books about history, religion, economics, politics, of course psychology. I am constantly studying and learning.”
She is really looking forward to the community outreach, and being there for people in the community that don’t really know where to get help. “Mental health care is sometimes overlooked, but getting help for depression or anxiety is just as important as seeking help for a back injury or infection.”
“I am passionate about working to break down the stigma of mental health in our community, and I encourage you to reach out and meet with me if you, or someone you know, is struggling with mental health.”
