National Breastfeeding Week: Together in the Journey of Motherhood

There’s something incredibly powerful about moms coming together to share their experiences. The joys, the struggles, and the small victories that shape the breastfeeding journey.

In honor of National Breastfeeding Week, we created a welcoming space at CBHA where moms and their little ones could connect, feel supported, and be heard. The room was filled with honest conversation, laughter, and the comforting reminder that no one has to walk this path alone.

Moments like these matter. Whether you're navigating your first days of breastfeeding or finding your rhythm months in, having the chance to talk openly with others who truly understand can make all the difference.

To show our appreciation, each mom went home with a thoughtful gift bag filled with items to support them along the way. A breastmilk chiller, children’s book, ice packs, and bibs.

We’re especially thankful for our dedicated Lactation Counselors, Sara Santoyo and Karlee Kerr, who were there to listen, encourage, and offer their expert guidance. Their passion for supporting moms through every stage of the breastfeeding journey is a true gift to our community.

If you or someone you know has questions about breastfeeding or would like extra support, our team is here for you. Call us at 509.488.5356 to schedule an appointment or learn more.

Because no mom should ever feel like she has to do it alone. 💛
