Firestarter Spotlight - Kristen Stevens
We want to congratulate Kristen Stevens on her Firestarter Award!
Kristen Stevens is an RN in our Family Services Department. She works within our Maternity Support Services program helping pregnant moms on their journey.
Kristen exemplifies what it means to go above and beyond for her patients. One day on her lunch break, she took it upon herself to resolve a complex issue involving one of her patient’s access to insulin, reaching out to multiple consultants and even the pharmacy director to find a solution.
Her actions not only helped one patient, but brought awareness to a larger issue affecting many others. This kind of care does not go unnoticed, and is one of many staff that deeply care for her patients.
Kristen’s initiative, compassion, and unwavering commitment to care make her a true Firestarter.
