Firestarter Spotlight - Martha Lopez

We’re proud to recognize Martha Lopez, MSS Case Manager, as this month’s Firestarter Award recipient for her incredible dedication and service to our CBHA families!

Martha’s journey with CBHA began 10 years ago through OIC’s work experience program. With no prior office experience, she jumped in with enthusiasm, taking computer classes and commuting from Mattawa to Othello to support the WIC team while waiting for a local opportunity to open. Her passion and commitment quickly became evident as she earned her WIC certification, became a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor, and most recently, completed her Bachelor's Degree, which earned her a well-deserved promotion as Maternity Support Service Case Manager in 2023.

Martha is known for her reliability, compassion, and willingness to go the extra mile. Hospitals from out of town have even reached out to share how much of an impact she’s made in the lives of the families she serves. Her dedication and growth over the years are a true inspiration, and we are so lucky to have her on our team. Congratulations, Martha!
