Big congrats to Navid Fregoso, for receiving her Firestarter Award! Navid brings deep knowledge, initiative, and a strong sense of teamwork to everything she does.

From helping open our Pasco Clinic to scheduling over 300 Quality Improvement appointments in 2024, her dedication to patient care and smooth clinic operations makes a big impact. She’s quick to problem-solve, eager to support her team, and always ready to go the extra mile for both patients and staff.

When did you start at CBHA?

I started working at CBHA on March 3rd, 2014.

 What is your job title and day-to-day responsibilities?

I’m a PSR-C. I help patients sign up for health insurance like Apple Health, Qualified Health Plans, or get set up with our discount program (ACP). I talk to a lot of patients every day and try to make things easier for them when it comes to getting healthcare coverage.

What is your favorite thing about working at CBHA?

I really love being able to help out our Hispanic community. It feels good to be there for my people, and help them get started when it comes to healthcare.

How has CBHA helped you grow in your career?

CBHA has helped me a lot by giving me training, resources, and chances to go to outreach events. I’ve learned a bunch of new things and picked up skills I didn’t have when I started.

What has been your favorite project at work so far?

Outreach events. I like going out into the community and sharing health info with people who don’t always have easy access to it.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

I’d want the power to heal people. That would be the best superpower. Being able to fix what’s wrong and help people feel better.

How do you turn a bad day into a good one?

Coffee! A good coffee can turn everything around.

What did you dream of becoming when you were a kid?

I wanted to be a lawyer when I was little.

Where is your favorite place to travel?

Puerto Vallarta! The beach, the food, the vibe. I love it all!

If you could be any Disney character, which one would you be?

Cinderella. She’s tough, stays positive, and bounces back no matter what.
