I started in September of 2012

What is your job title and day-to-day responsibilities?
I work as the Credentialing Coordinator in the Billing Department. My day-to-day responsibilities include credentialing new providers, privileging, payer enrollment, maintaining state licenses/certificates, provider reappointments, and additional tasks to ensure we are in compliance as a healthcare organization.

What is your favorite thing about working at CBHA?
My favorite thing about working at CBHA is working with staff from various departments, community members, and patients. I also enjoy how CBHA grows talent within the staff and offers resources to help us reach professional and personal goals. Lastly, CBHA gives back to the community and shows how much we care in areas where many of us call home now or grew up. To feel a part of something special in local, rural healthcare makes this journey very meaningful.

How has CBHA helped you grow in your career?
CBHA helped me grow my career in healthcare from 2012 to now, and it’s been life-changing for me. I’ve worked as an Optician Apprentice, Optometry Business Manager, Community Relations Coordinator, and now as a Credentialing Coordinator. In addition, I worked as a lead for the CBHA Quality Impact Team, CBHA Positive Pulse, and the CBHA Color Run. All of these wonderful opportunities helped me grow within the organization and build partnerships with several community leaders and organizations.

What has been your favorite project at work so far?
Many come to mind, but I have enjoyed the projects with the grand opening of the new health campus in Othello back in 2017 and CBHA’s Philanthropy Service.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Teleportation.

How do you turn a bad day into a good one?
Refocus on my purpose for the day, count the blessings in my life, listen to music, and enjoy Häagen-Dazs ice cream.

What did you dream of becoming when you were a kid?
I always wanted to be an Astronaut.

Where is your favorite place to travel?
I enjoy traveling to whichever city is hosting WrestleMania or the Royal Rumble for the current year.

If you could be any Disney Character which one would you be?
I would be Moana.

Anyone you would like to thank or final words?
I am truly thankful to everyone at CBHA. I have had the honor and pleasure of working with them. Thank you for attending the events, making me laugh/smile, and inspiring me every day. The highlight of my career is being able to connect with staff, their families/friends, and patients. A special thank you to every supervisor I have worked with and grown with. I genuinely appreciate you so much for working with me and supporting my career aspirations
