When did you start at CBHA?
I began my journey with CBHA on September 6, 2016
What is your job title and day-to-day responsibilities?
My current job title is PSR-C Lead, and I also take on other duties as needed. I take great pride in my work and in being part of an organization whose mission is to provide equal access to health care for all. I look forward to continuing to serve our community by welcoming patients in a professional and friendly manner, assisting them with scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments, and building meaningful connections with each one.
What is your favorite thing about working at CBHA?
My favorite part of working at CBHA is having the opportunity to serve and support everyone who chooses our clinics for their care.
How has CBHA helped you grow in your career?
CBHA has helped me grow in my career by providing valuable training, ongoing support, and many opportunities to learn from my supervisors and mentors. Over the past nine years, I’ve gained extensive knowledge and skills that allow me to deliver quality customer service to our communities.
What has been your favorite project at work so far?
My favorite event is the CBHA 5K Color Run, which my family and I love participating in each year. I’ve also enjoyed contributing to other projects, including helping remodel our Connell, Mattawa, and most recently, Pasco Clinic.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
If I could choose a superpower, it would be Perfect Understanding seeing and comprehending everything in an instant, turning complexity into insight and connection.
How do you turn a bad day into a good one?
I turn a bad day into a good one by treating myself to a rich cup of coffee with extra shots of espresso and keeping a positive attitude.
What did you dream of becoming when you were a kid?
I dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur and running my own business.
Where is your favorite place to travel?
My family’s favorite travel destination is Florida, with its white sandy beaches and clear blue waters. It’s a truly beautiful place, filled with countless shared memories.
If you could be any Disney Character which one would you be?
I would be Simba from The Lion King.

I am truly honored to receive the Firestarter award, and I want to sincerely thank Roxana Camacho for nominating me! CBHA feels like home, and being part of this amazing organization brings me great joy every day. I feel incredibly blessed by our Creator and am so grateful for my wife Tabitha, our son Skyler, my family, and all the leaders, mentors, supervisors, and peers who have supported and guided me along my journey. This award is as much theirs as it is mine!
