Alma truly embodies the WE CARE standards every day. As an MA-C , she is an invaluable resource to both her fellow MAs and providers, always willing to help, guide, and support those around her. Alma consistently goes above and beyond, completing every task with thoroughness and a positive attitude.

Beyond her exceptional work, she brings a caring, kind-hearted, and empathetic presence to the team. Recently, Alma stepped in to assist with custodial duties at the Pasco Clinic while a team member was out, staying after hours without complaint to ensure the space remained welcoming. Her warmth extends to patients as well, offering a familiar and comforting presence.

Alma’s dedication, generosity, and unwavering commitment make her more than deserving of this recognition. We’re so lucky to have her on our team!

When did you start at CBHA?

I began working at CBHA in July of 2013

What is your job title and day-to-day responsibilities?

At CBHA, I help prepare patients for their visits by taking vitals and updating their records. I assist providers during exams and procedures, collect lab samples, and administer medications and vaccines. I also make sure exam rooms are clean and stocked, and I’m here to answer patient questions and provide education when needed.

What has been your favorite project at work so far?

The best part about working here at CBHA has truly been all my coworkers! I have been blessed to work with some amazing individuals and look forward to coming to work every day because of them.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

I think anybody in the medical field would wish to have the power to heal. If I could heal our patients and take all their heartaches and pains away, I would.

How do you turn a bad day into a good one?

On those crazy super busy days it helps to remember that “today shall pass.” I remind myself that every patient interaction matters, no matter how big or small. So I take a deep breath and put a big smile one my face.

Where is your favorite place to travel?

I love to go camping with my grand-babies!
