This recognition is more than a personal achievement, it reflects the impact of mission-driven leadership in our community. At CBHA, leadership is not about titles. It is about stewardship. It is about standing firm in moments of scrutiny. It is about choosing patients first, even when the work is complex. And it is about building teams who care deeply about the people we serve.
Nieves’ recognition highlights the strength of our organization; our clinicians, care teams, support staff, leaders, and community partners, all working together to advance access, equity, and excellence in care. Under his leadership, CBHA has continued to expand services, strengthen operations, and invest in the long-term health of our region. This award reflects not just influence, but integrity.
