Coronavirus: Should I see my doctor? If so, when and why?

CBHA serves our communities without regard to anyone’s age, sex, color, ethnicity, national origin, or ability to pay. We are also directed by federal, state, and county health authorities as it pertains to the coronavirus.

While there are no confirmed coronavirus cases as of today in Adams or Franklin counties the health officer for the counties has said that there may be cases that are not yet detected.

Below is a summary of the latest directions we must adhere to, from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Washington State Department of Health. Please note the important distinctions in what you should do based upon your symptoms and exposure:

  • You have symptoms of an upper respiratory infection, but have not been around anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19
  • You were potentially exposed to someone with confirmed coronavirus
  • You have been in close contact to someone with COVID-19
  • You have confirmed or suspected coronavirus
