Welcome Melissa Mateo! Melissa is one of our newest PA-C’s here at CBHA! She will be serving at our Othello Clinic.

Melissa is from Yakima, WA and is now living Othello. She attended the University of Washington receiving her Masters of Clinical Health Services.

She was first inspired to go into the medical field by her own Provider who was a PA. “I had such a good experience with her, and I thought how perfect that career would be for me. So I jumped right into it!” says Melissa.

She's always had a passion to serve rural and underserved communities. “Being part of CBHA’s Medical Team I will be able to live out my passion while also helping CBHA achieve their mission,” says Melissa.

Melissa is determined to begin growing in her position and providing the best care for her patients. “It’s important to me that I provide a welcoming presence for my patients, and a positive environment with my colleagues.”

On her free time she enjoys reading, playing soccer and dodgeball, traveling to new places and fishing.

“I’m excited to meet all the families and members that are in this beautiful community and provide excellent patient care to you all!”
