Washington's Columbia Basin is a region with a rich background in agricultural-related industries. While offering young people a breath of opportunities in our thriving agricultural economy, young people and professionals alike recognize that many of the region’s largest companies lie within a day’s drive of family, offering opportunities in the fields of technology, consumer goods, healthcare, education, and public services.
Columbia Basin Health Association (CBHA) recognizes that continuing our legacy of quality healthcare in the Columbia Basin means developing and recruiting future generations of qualified healthcare providers and professionals.
We are proud to continue offering the CBHA Healthy Futures Scholarship to help graduating high school seniors and enrolled college students pay for their education. Each year, CBHA awards three $2,000 scholarships to students from the CBHA service areas.
This scholarship recognizes students that have exhibited leadership or a commitment to community service and seek to continue their work with an education focused on healthcare or public service.
